British powerboat team laps to victory
Teamhoneyparty.com, the British powerboat team of veteran racer Richard Carr, lapped its way to victory at the Royal Motor Yacht Club Brass Monkey offshore powerboat race on Saturday.
The 39ft vee hull Skater has just made it to the UK from the US where the team won the Offshore Super Series and World and National Championships in the Super Vee Extreme Class.
The team is now gearing up for the first race of the 2008 UIM Powerboat P1 season on May 9 in Italy.
