SailTime open day in Poole
SailTime is to hold an open day at Poole on Saturday 19 April to celebrate the opening of a new base. Its initial fleet of a Sealine SC29 powerboat and a Beneteau 37 Oceanis sailing yacht will be joined at the end of June by a Beneteau 31.
The new base will be run by John Bostock, who grew up and learnt to sail in Poole and holds commercially endorsed Yachtmaster Offshore tickets for Sail and Power. "Boats can be used by up to 8 members," he said, "allowing each member a minimum of 42 days a year."
SailTime is offering a free 5-day RYA Day Skipper or Competent Crew course for members who join on the open day, which will run from 10am to 4pm.
