Yacht Express opens regular round-trip service
Yacht Express, the world's largest float-on float-off yacht carrier, has opened a regular round-trip service between Florida and the Mediterranean. 18 yachts worth in total some £78 million are being carried aboard the 209m long vessel on its inaugural voyage.

The round-trip route typically takes 15 days each way, but it can be as few as 10 days. "It provides yacht owners with a state-of-the-art transport facility," said Dockwise Yacht Transport's (DYT) President Clemens van der Werf.

DYT, which operates three other semi-submersible yacht carriers, has transported over 9,000 motor and sailing yachts to various destinations around the globe since 1987.
