Falmouth speed warning
Boat owners in Falmouth are being warned to watch their speed this summer. Falmouth Harbour Commissioners plan to repeat last year's safety campaign which led to 130 verbal and five written warnings being issued to speeding boaters after a series of incidents in Carrick Roads.

Harbourmaster Mark Sansom said the aim of the campaign was to "encourage safe boating for all, including reducing speed, sensible drinking and use of lights at night." The Commissioners have invested heavily in improved facilities for harbour users, including a new specialist patrol officer tasked with ensuring safety and security for boat users in Falmouth Bay.
