Earthrace finally ready for the off
After a few false starts, the biodiesel-powered boat Earthrace will finally begin her round-the-world record attempt on Sunday.

The trimaran will leave at 1pm from Spain's Sagunto on its mission to tackle all the world's oceans in record time.

This will be the boat's second attempt on the record after its first effort was hampered by structural damage and unscheduled delays.

Skipper Pete Bethune said: "For the next 40 days we're going to be living on adrenaline. The crew have entered 'race mode' and we have one thing on our minds - the world record."
