Touchy feely
Here's a test of will for you. Try and walk past the Doral stand without laying your greasy paws on the new 265 sportsboat. I couldn't. This boat is packed with lovely, tactile detail that just demands to be touched, tested and generally appreciated. More of a luxury weekender than a common or garden sportster, the 265's cockpit features cherry wood detailing, stainless steel screens, thickly gauged rails and two wonderfully chunky seats that not so much support as completely envelop you. The high-end finish runs to the cabin, where cushioned linings, long side screens and a mid-berth all add a cruisy feel. Powered by a single 5.7l V8 petrol, prices start at around £55,000
