Farewell Calm Voyager
It's the final day of the Southampton Boat Show and the blustery winds have returned to the pontoons. Today Motor Boats Monthly will say a sad goodbye to our 2-year-old Fairline Phantom 40 Calm Voyager. Calm Voyager has racked up over 4700 miles with MBM, including passages by sea to North Wales and Ireland and on our other cruising rallies to the Channel Islands, Normandy, the West Country, Belgium and Holland. To read more about the boats travels visit our cruising club blog page, and if you would like to find out how we found the Phantom 40 there will also be a full owners report in our November issue. There has been much interest in the boat at the show while it has been on Try-A-Boat and rumour has she may have already sold.
There is another farewell as today the QE2 will depart Southampton for the last time. As I write she is currently re-fuelling in dock ready for departure, the Cunard liner has been sold to become a floating hotel. See news story
